Gone Nettle Hunting (Soon!)

This is a note my father left on the table for my mum years ago.
It simply says, Nettle hunting, Gene.

He left it for her before the two of us jumped in the truck to tromp through the woods looking for a nettle patch to harvest from.

I loved this note so much, I pocketed it and brought it back to Taiwan with me.

It now sits in this jar full of white birch paper bark from the old tree in our front yard. My trip to Canada is getting closer (date still not set yet, maybe third week of June?), but this is about all I'll be doing.

* Lounging about in my yard in my little village
* Collecting herbs, nettle hunting
* Hanging with my closest family after some Covid tests (gotta protect people, especially those in their seventies!)

So much to doooooooooo before I leave, but once I'm there, good goddess, there will be so much nature time and long spans of idle time.
