Applaud yourself.
I doubt any of us do this enough. Applaud so hard that your hands hurt and you are falling off your chair just because.  Applauding until your whole body and mind are being shaken up with this self-congratulatory love.  Perhaps not with actual applause then, but how about just a kind word for getting up 5 minutes earlier today, not throwing a nasty snarl at that person in traffic, or choosing a kind word to think about yourself when the mind so easily and often chooses one that undermines?
Actions of self care are a kind of applause that your body-mind is craving. This blog will highlight some of the best and easiest acts of self care available to us in Taichung City and around Taiwan. Did you know some of the most nourishing health-building tonics are right under our noses here in Taiwan for as little as 20 NT? Or how easily we can reduce our chemical load with just a few simple changes?  That's just the start.
