Nah, but if I had written about this a couple of years ago it might have been. Now it's part of my Life as a Garden approach to living.
There are lots of folks who ask me questions in DMs, and who let me ask them questions, and see that I take the time to give them thoughtful information-filled responses... ▪️ and then they never buy a thing (yet again ask me more questions like this several times a year) ▪️ or go buy my suggestions elsewhere ▪️ or asked me on a whim and never intended to follow through so didn't say thank you
Two years ago, I was getting fed up because this fruitless messaging was eating up a lot of my time and energy. Then I began to let that go.
I started to incorporate these experiences into my growing idea of my life as a garden. I plant some things and they may not come up and that's normal. I couldn't have done anything more or better, so I let it go.
But what really makes my garden thrive? ▪️ I really appreciate a thank you! ▪️ I'm overjoyed when folks appreciate my time, education, and work by buying their products from me! ▪️ I'm heartened when people give reviews for products or HBH on my website or on social media! ▪️ I'm over the moon when people share their progress and wins with me! Finally sleeping! Able to relax! Food issues are gone! Body pain is easing!
That is what my garden is full of now because of all the times people in the community did appreciate the work.
